Ahhh beauty monthly subscription boxes who doesn’t love them? I have been testing out a few and so far Ipsy is my favorite. I became a subscriber of Sephora Play just a few months ago. To be honest, I’m not a fan. I subscribed because of the price for high-end makeup.
These products are only sample sized. I heard of most of the brands I received. Play by Sephora does not offer full sized products. No points are involved like Ipsy. Next month I am going back to Ipsy!
- perfect for on the go and travel
- explore new brands
- step out of comfort zone
- Cute themed bag every month
- not curated upon likes – you don’t take an in-depth quiz
- only 3-6 different boxes
- sends too many primers
June 2017 Bag
This is a fuschia tone and it’s beautiful. This is perfect for the summer. This looks terrible on me because of my medium skintone.
This is basically a primer and moisturizer which is great because you can skip that step of moisturizing. I use this as a moisturizer
Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil
I use very little in my hair. It makes it a bit smoother.the perfect multitasker, the fast-absorbing formula illuminates hair and skin as it restores moisture.
I tried this before because I received this in my Ipsy bag. I do like this primer, but it’s not my top choice of primer.
A coconut oil-infused gel to create hydrated, undone hair. This is good to use when your hair is damp. Perfect before quick errands or to the beach.
